CLIFF VILLA

Cliff Villa is a residential interior project in Faqra, Lebanon, organized around floor surfaces that extend from the envelope into open space, creating shade and generous areas for outdoor entertainment. The slab edges taper gently, making the hovering planes appear light and paper-thin. The rectilinear architectural language contrasts discreetly with the natural mountain setting while retaining the integrated character of mountain shelters. At this altitude, pleasant summers encourage outdoor living, and the two dwellings share multiple platforms wedged into the hill, including rooftops and terraces that extend from the interior.
